Delphi is what comes with your car from the factory.
The advantages of these injectors are listed in the ad in detail.

Re: LT1 32 lb/hr Upgrade Injectors

I was under the impression that the reason the SVO injectors are desirable is because if they fail; they fail in an "open" position, so if one breaks when there is a big load on the engine it won't suddenly go lean.

How do these injectors fail?

This is FALSE information.
Injectors can fail in a number of ways but they rarely ever do.
More often than not they are contaminated by the user.

SVO injectors sell because of their price because Bosch pumps them out like candy.

The factory tolerance on these injectors is VERY good.
On average they are within +/- 1.5% so flow-matching them does not make sense.

This small injector size supports mild factory HP improvements so the average person buying them would be more concerned with the price (budget racer) than paying a premium to have them as flow-matched sets.

Unless you undersized your injector requirements.. no it would not be the injectors.

Check you ECM/PCM programming, fuel pressure and ignition system properly.
