LT1 Alternator out?

So this weekend im probley buying a 1994 Z28 100,000 miles private owner 3,000 dollars, The only problem she said it had was the alternator need to be replaced and a serptaine belt...What else should I look out for? Greatly appericate any help!

You should have a good idea after a test drive. I would see what the service records are and how well it was maintained. I would look for oil leaking under the car. Make sure you start it cold and see how it idles. Then make sure there are no service engine lights on. If you live in an emission area be sure the cat is there and i even ran it through to be sure it would pass when needed. The price is right and be sure there was no previous damage that was repaired poorly. Check to be sure the tranmission is working smoothly and you have no smoke out the tail pipes.
