Hrmm.....doesn't look like I could use that bracket with my S-Trim right there.

Besides, IMO it doesn't make much sense to relocate the alternator yet put a pulley in the same spot. I would much rather just not have anything there at all and be able to cut the upper part of the accessory bracket off.

Especially if I was paying 200 bucks for it.........

most auto parts stores will have a book from dayco that has the demensios of the pulleys out there,

Q, if you can measure the width, diameter, number of grooves and the id and od of the bearing, I should be able to get a part number

The only way you're going to be able to not have a pulley up there is to totally change the power steering pump system to turn the opposite direction it does now. Maybe that will just mean putting the one from a Corvette on there or it may mean designing and building a pump of your own, or it may mean eliminating the power steering altogether.

The belt size for all stock pulleys is a Napa 060770.

The idler pulley can be ordered at NAPA. Part number 38008 I highly doubt that the pulley and/or bearing will fail anytime soon. It is actually meant to be an idler pulley for some other vehicle.

Oh, get over it. I hate the way the alternator looks sitting up there too, but I don't think having an empty pulley up there looks any better. In fact, I think it'd be worse. I'd have more people asking me why I'm such a dumbass for having a dummy pulley right up there in plain view at car shows, and it wouldn't be worth the money. $200 can go a long way in something else that would be more productive.

I have been driving it for about a week. The only slippage I get is a slight squeel at a WOT blast from a dead stop. Otherwise all is fine. No problems whatso ever. Feel free to ask other questions if you are intersted. I will do my best to answer them.
