LT1 Cam swap, motor in the car?

Hey all, I couldn't quite find a post that answered this question, so if there's a post that answers it that I couldn't find, I'd love to see it.

Is it possible to do a cam swap on a 96 LT1 withOUT removing the motor from the car? I'd sure love not to drop the motor. If it's possible, is there somewhere where the steps to do so are listed?

Thanks again!

That's a great guide and shows that the cam can be changed with the engine in the car. About the only thing to add is that if the motor mounts are worn the cam can be tough to get past the radiator support. Pulling a motor mount through bolt and jacking up the engine a small amount will get you past that and still under the AC condenser.....
