LT1 Dyno Results - with graph

Just got my car dyno tuned by Bryan Herter. Here is what we ended up with:

387 RWHP / 366 RWTQ in FULL Emissions trim, including Cats, EGR and AIR. This final pull was done with a warm motor.

HP peaked at 6150rpm and the TQ peaked between 4500 and 5000. The TQ curve was VERY flat making over 350 lb-ft from 2000rpm through 5800rpm. Peak HP didn't start falling off until 6400rpm. the car is extremely responsive and makes power from 1500 through redline!!!

-LE2 Heads
-LE1 Emissions Cam. Duration is in the low-mid 220s with a wide LSA.
-355 LT1 shortblock by D&F Performance in Williamstown, NJ
-1.6 Rockers
-58mm TB
-Stock intake with TB holes opend up to match the 58mm TB
-30 lb Ford injectors
-Jet Hot LTs with emissions fittings
-Mufflex 3.5" exhaust and y-pipe with 3" cats (not hollowed out)
-6M with 4:10s

I just like to give a special thanks to Lloyd Elliot for flat-out nailing the combo, to Dave at D&F Performance for doing a superb job with the SB and engine assembly and to Bryan Herter for his tuning abilities. We picked up almost 20hp on the dyno. Well Done!!

Nice job! Great #'s for a total emissions setup w/ cats and all. Plan on taking it to the track?

Now add an electric waterpump and a ported intake and you should be at 400+rwhp.

Pretty impressive especially considering the emissions factor.

Nice numbers and emissions friendly, sweet. And being an M6, I'll bet it's a gas to drive.

Nice numbers! Where did he dyno tune the car at? Your just across the street from me too Bryan is going to tune my car wen I get it back together but its taking a bit longer than I had expected. Bryan is top notch!

Where is D&F? Never heard of them before. What's in the short block?

I wanted setup that was driveable and responsive. Yes, it is a blast to drive!

I had it dyno'd at JD's in Huntington Valley. Bryan rents the shop dyno for tuning.

D&F is in Williamstown, NJ. They've been around for at least 20 years. They were amoung the 3 highly recommended SB chevy builders in the Philly area. No complaints! The short block is balanced, has forged pistons, it's squared, decked, etc. It has the stock crank and rods.

I hope to get to Atco within a few weeks.

I'll try to get the dyno sheet up shortly.

never heard of them before. I was curious because you said "forged 355". I assumed you meant crank and rods were forged also.

Yeah I've been to JD's before. Bryan will probably tune my car there also.
