LT1 install into 89 Camaro
I'm swapping a '93 LT1 into an 89 Camaro. The Camaro came with the 2.8L V6. The motor came with complete harness and ECM with most sensors and leads labelled.
1) Anyone know if the stock fuel pump from the V6 will work? Meaning, will it pump enough fuel to the LT1?
2) How can I mount the air charge temp sensor into an aftermarket (K&N) air induction?
3) Where is the sender that controls the rad fan motor? I know it needs to go through a relay, but which sender on the motor will serve as the ground for the relay?

drill a hole and use a rubber grommet
fans are ECM controlled, no sensor on the engine grounds the relay, the ECM does

Re: LT1 install into 89 Camaro
Yes, I have polyurethane mounts, and I don't think I'm running A/C because I've read the compressor will interfere with the pass. side mount.
the '89 V6 has TPI and fuel pump is good, so I guess I'm good to go with it. thanks for the tip.
Please check my understanding on the fans. If ECM grounds the relay, I just need to ID the correct ground wire from the ECM, and substitute it in place of the existing fan relay ground wire. Any idea if the stock fan relay can handle the amps pulled by the dual fan unit needed for the LT1?
