LT1 intake elbow Q
I'm looking to buy a new intake elbow for my '95 Z, as my stock one is starting to get torn up. I had my eye on one of the trickflow elbows and I just realized you can't get one with an install kit for under $76.
Does anyone know of a cheaper brand? I know they were sold on eBay a while back but I can't seem to find any..I just can't justify spending $76, or $92 for the ceramic coated one. If anyone got an elbow for cheaper than that, let me know where!

Re: LT1 intake elbow Q
they're still there. search for camaro intake and it should be one of the million that pop up....i dont think elbow is on there. maybe add aluminum or something.
i got mine for 55 shipped. be sure to keep the little grommet if you have a vented opti...i didnt know what it was for so i threw it away and found out what it was for when my opti started acting up.

this is the elbow i have...it eliminates the resonator that exists on the stock one...it is made out of the identical rubber and looks identical..performance gains might be small but i don't really think you'll get a big gain from any of the other elbows

Re: LT1 intake elbow Q
The Trickflow elbows add alot of cosmetic enhancement to your engine bay... if you are not too worried about that, then I would just consider the 1LE elbow. Another idea would be to post your request on the "Parts Wanted" section of this board, somebody may have one that they are looking to sell.

I lucked out, the previous owner already had a ceramic coated one on the car when I bought it. I can definitely see the dilema though where an elbow that offers no real power gain can set you back almost a hundred bucks. I would do a "search" on this topic, I think this was covered in the past and there may be some leads on where you can get a ceramic coated elbow for a more affordable price.

This company use to sell metal ones for about 40 if I remember correctly, so maybe you could contact them.
