Sure, take out the LT1, put in an LS1.

Simple as that!

You can swap engines if thats what you mean. There is allot of things to change thought but it has and can be done.

Now if you mean can you take an LT-1 and change a few parts it will become an LS-1 then no. They are very different engines.

 

Ls1's are alumminum blocks so you could never change a lt1 iron block in to a ls1.But you could swap a lt1 out for a Ls1.

 

Go to LS1 site----trader.

 

Sell your LT1 and buy an LS1

 

It can be done, you will need a donor LS1 motor, k-member, PCM, and wiring harness for starters.
