As taken from "How to Rebuild LT1/4 Small Block Chevy Engines"
"Production piston rings are low tension rings. Top compression rings are measured at 0.076" thick. Second rings are measured at 0.057" thick. Oil ring packages are measured at 0.165" thick. The GM standard ring set is P/N 12528817. +.005" oversize is P/N 12528818. +.030" oversize set is P/N 12528819."
