Theres several different types of valve springs you can get for your LT1 .
It all depends on type of cam your running or planning on running . But
whatever you do DO NOT and i cant stress enough DO NOT run Comp
Cams beehive 26918 valve springs ! The 26918 springs are having numerous
failure rates and has costed a handful of people motors already

Are you doing a cam ? Just curious to why you wanna replace stock
springs with a new set of stock springs IMO if you are
just replacing the valve springs cuz of mileage then just go for some
patriot golds . Do it right the first time so you wont have to re-purchase
another set of springs when you do a rebuild .

BTW cheap is NOT the direction you wanna take when messing around with
the valvetrain . This is definately one area that price makes a difference .

diameter is 1.25 a 1.26 will fit the locators and retainers
not sure on the pressures....LT4 ones would work fine.
1.78 is the factory installed height

Why do you feel you need them? If you have a stock cam then I wouldn't bother with em

well there is some tapping coming from the left valve cover area. im thinking that it was the rockers but they seemed fine. so then i figured i would replace the valve train. i can pick up the parts on ebay pretty cheap. so when i said cheap i mean i dont want to spend $200 on a set of springs when im going to put a hot cam kit in it next year. cant quite afford it yet. so im just trying to fix the problem.
