LT1 Stock Fuel Pressure?

I'm thinking about getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Do you guys recommend anyone in particular and is it best to make the adjustment on a dyno? Also what's the stock pressure set at and should I raise or lower the fuel pressure?

Don't bother with a fuel pressure reg. The computer in a 1994 will sense the difference and adjust to counter it. The effect would last for a very short time.

Stock pressure with the key on and motor not running is 41-47psi, with motor running it should drop to around 37-38 psi. You would lower it to increase hp, not sure by how much. An AFPR is not really needed though for an internally stock 94-97 LT1, you won't see much if any gain from it. Even if you change the fuel pressure the PCM will adjust the injectors to compensate for the change. An adjustable FPR is only really needed for cars with bigger cam/head upgrades. The only near stock LT1's that will benefit from an AFPR are 93's since they use speed density instead of an MAF and do not have a PCM to adjust for the change made to fuel pressure.
