LT1 valve & spring question *pics*
I just finished putting on 26918 "beehive" valve springs on my
buddies heads and I noticed something ive never noticed before .
The tip of the valve stem is not flush with the retainer
I have pics of the heads with the stock valve springs on and the
valve stem is not flush with the stock retainers either . Is this normal
and I just never noticed this before or is something wrong here ?
Thanks in advance

Yea everything came out fine . Here is a pic of the heads with the
factory springs & retainers and youll notice that the valve stems are
sticking up past the retainers like they are now with the 26918's .
Any thoughts ?

Like was said above, as long as your spring installed height is correct, that is normal, the height of the valve tip to the top of the retainer can change +/-.100" depending on your retainer/lock combination.
