What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for a LT1 and for a 95 Mustang GT? Thanks
My buddy had a 94 gt auto. It was kind of quick car he was always talking crap saying lt1's werent that quick blah blah blah. Well when i finally got my 95 firebird formula he test drove it at the dealer and he almost wet his pants. He knew from the test drive his car wasn't getting with the lt1. He almost traded in his gt for the formula but changed his mine. I ended up getting it and we raced "a little" a couple weeks later. I murdered him in a few seconds(by the time i was in second gear) . After that his had alot of respect for f-body's.

My friends 94 5.0 GT vert A4 ran 16.2@??mph.

Dont know the trap but its probably in the low 90s.

my dad bought a 92 LX hatch for about 3200$, spent about 7000$ on it in modifications, still has the stock bottom end in the 302, and he runs high 12.9 trapping 107mph NA on DR's, now you can get a cheap LT1 now adays for about the same and spend less and be faster. Stock for stock, and LT1 will blow away and stock 302.

You won't be disappointed with an LT1 or LS1 at all. Mods are a little more pricey for the LS1 though. I saw a stock (if you call a WS-6 stock) 2002 WS-6 run a 13.0 at 100 mph one day at the track, very impressive.

I had a 1991 Mustang GT and it had some work done to it and my stock 1994 Z-28 feels alot faster than my Mustang. I had alot done to the Mustang to. When I wanted another car I drove a 1995 Mustang GT and I wasnt impressed, so I drove the Z28 I have now and as you can see what I own now. My mustang sounded better than my Camaro but who needs sound.

You sure that wasn't 110mph???
That is crazy traction if it was at 100mph...

Now you say "upgrade to an LT1 or LS1" do you mean swap it into your RS or get an entire new car? Your 3rd gen is much lighter then a 4th gen so you'd be even quicker if you're planning a motor swap. I went 14.03 at 100.02 mph in my TA stock...The 5.0 mustang is a GREAT car and the drivetrain is awesome. The motors run forever and respond great to mods. Insurance at least when I was looking was more expensive on the 5.0 then the LT1 go figure....the 94/95 5.0 stang with the 5 speed would be good for high 14's all day long with a good driver. 14.90s at about 93 or so mph is about what you could expect. They are by no means slow especially since you're used to driving an RS...If it were me I'd go for an LS1 car the motor is better than the LT1 (although not as strong) especially for a daily driver, they get better mileage, run smoother and have more room under the hood to work...the downside to the LS1 is the cost of parts they are pretty expensive to get parts for. I ended up going with the LT1 because it would be reliable and also is a great performing vehicle.

I'll help you with this one. I use to have a 94 mustang gt 5.0 I had a full exhaust headers back, pullies, and a couple other bolt on's and i only ran a 14.9 @ 96 mph. I just picked up my 95 Z and in every specd this car is much better than my stang! I am a ford guy but I will not buy another Stang (unless an 03 cobra ) The Camaro is much easier to make faster! Plus if you get red the chicks dig it more

BTW....a couple of my friends have/had 96 Cobras.....the fastest stock was an 8.60 in the 1/8 mile. That was bone stock with the NON drag radial Nitto nt555. That's probably a 13.6 or so.
