LT4 cam vs. LT1 cam

I am not talking about the LT4 hotcam, I am talking about the difference between the stock LT4 cam and the LT1 cam. The 330hp cam. Was the big difference between the lt1's and lt4's the heads and intake for the extra horsepower, and the special exhaust manifolds SLP had for the lt4 f-bodys? Is all that extra horsepower simply from the heads and intake, I could see it being so, but I do think the cams are slightly different.... but how much is my question? Thanks.

Re: LT4 cam vs. LT1 cam

It is different, but not worth doing a cam swap for. The majority of the power comes from the heads/intake.

Re: LT4 cam vs. LT1 cam

the LT4 was almost identical to the LT1 cam...but the Lt4 used 1.6 FULL roller rockers not only to get more lift/dur but add some ponies
