LT4 fuel requirements

would it be okay to run 91oct pump gas with a LT4 conversion. just wondering if the higher CR needs better fuel.

all we have here in california is 91. i could use an additive but i dont want to spend money on race fuel all the time.

thanks,
jeremy

Re: LT4 fuel requirements

There's a lot of blown cars here in CA that do fine on the street with 91 octane. For the track I always running race gas. The best thing to do is check your air/fuel ratio on a wideband O2 sensor on the dyno.

whats up OBE1? havent talked to you in a while. i think im gonna sell my SC and just finish off the LT4 conversion. i guess when i send my PCM off to ion again ill just tell him what octane im gonna run and he'll tune it accordingly.

anything new with your ride?
