you will pull hard on a stock ls1. i have that same setup but with a 52 mm TB lt4 hot cam, 1.6rr,lt4 springs, catback exhaust, Granatelli MAF,k@n cold air, 1le elbow, strenghtened pushrods, new lifters, all the bolt ons with no tune yet and i laugh at how mad the ls1 drivers get seein a lil ole LT1 walk pass him! But then again i have a T-56 with a spec stage 2+ clutch kit. so to answer your question. yes you will probably be beating your ls1 friends. and i would say high 12s with around 330-350 HP. good luck if you need any help or info let me know. been there done that. and well worth it.

check the gear by turning the rear tire around 1 time. if the driveshaft spins 2.75=2.73, 3.25=3.23, 3.75=3.73, and so on.

just buy and egr block off plate or make one. its just a diamond shaped plate.

i'll be pulling off my heater hoses, a/c and doing the delete bracket just for the simplicity of everything.

I would not waste your money on a 58 mm throttle body. I Have the same setup but a stock TB and made 323RWHP and run a 12.36@109 in an A4.
Also have a 131,000 miles on it.

There is a single vacuum line from the intake manifold to the EGR vacuum solenoid. When you remove the vacuum line, put a vacuum cap on the nipple, and you are done. EGR system components, courtesy of Shoebox:

Then there's the AIR system, which may be what you are also inculding in this. Its got the metal and rubber lines that connect the AIR pump to the holes in the exhaust manifolds.

Granted a 58mm might be overkill for your setup but you would benefit from putting at least a 52mm...i had a noticeable gain when i put a 52mm on my car and all i had done was cold air and a pully. You can find a cheaper used one im sure on the forum.

I run a 58mm throttle body on my 381 stroker. On an engine dyno, at 500 flywheel HP, it was able to supply the engine with all the air it needed, with the blades only 77% open. If you rough out the numbers, it probably would have made the same HP with a 52mm throttle body 100% open.

unless you plan on spraying, or supercharging/turbo your motor its a waist of money. If you were getting a bigger cam, bigger heads and intake ported, than yeah get the 58mm. but a 52 will flow perfectly with your setup. trust me i pretty much have your setup and it scoots pretty damn good. and it gets suprisingly well gas mileage. 6spd though.
