MAF question

Hey guys, I have a '94 Z and it just started running really bad recently. The car bucks and shakes when coming to a stop and idles poorly. Now it's starting kinda slow and puffing a bit of black smoke. It is running rich as hell. My friend thinks the MAF might be bad. I have all new sensors (02's, Map, TPS, IAC, and anything else I'm forgetting) Is there a way to know for sure if the MAF is shot? I'm not getting an SES light. If I replace it what should I get? A stock one, aftermarket, z06 unit? My car is basically stock and I only plan on doing minor bolt-ons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have someone around you that has an F-Body just switch them out real quick and see if the car runs better. If so just get ya another one and you can usually pick up a used unit for like 50 bucks if not cheaper.
