Re: MAF screen: can you buy a replacement screen?
thx turboz for the advice, as far as the granatelli its a nightmare to get tuned correctly and all it really does is give a false MAF reading and leans out the WOT fuel curve which eventually gets corrected anyway on the long term fuel adjustments which will end up riching it up so all in all it probably brings nothing to the table lol

Re: MAF screen: can you buy a replacement screen?
we had a disscusion on our local board about this some time ago and if im not mistaken (correct me if im wrong tulsa guys) ED wright chimed in and said that they are junk and changing/modifying the stock MAF in any way is foolish and can create tune/tunning nightmares

Apparently the Granatellis are hit or miss whether or not you will get a good one. I bought one a long time ago, and never had a problem with it. I have had it in & out many times along with my stock (still screened & unported) sensor and it made no difference in idle or BLMs. I have it on the inlet side of the blower and bought it because it has a larger ID, so it works for me.
