I put a magnaflow exhaust on my car last week. and lets just say that Im not thrilled. Im more than capable of installing this system myself and have done other installs that are much more difficult than this before. When I went to install the system none of the hangers lined up. and the tips didnt line up with the exits on my bumper. Theres only 1 way the kit can be installed and its not like its that hard to do. so I had to take it to a muffler shop and have them make new hangers and cut and bend on the piping to make it fit. They also agreed that the kit didnt fit right.So $150 extra dollars later I have my exhaust on and Im real happy with the sound and look on the trans am, Maybe it was just a defective kit? IDK. it was just a headache and walletache to put it on.

Funny you should say that.........one of my friends had Magnaflows put on his '95 Mustang GT and they were all uneven and crooked.......he had to go back after they were put on to get them readjusted to look right. I wonder if that's a common thing with those.

both my buddy and my brother had the same problem with there driverside tale pipe. It goes off to the left. Not to much of a problem with the hangers. I guess you get what you pay for.

Yeah I did get it dirt cheap $323.00 shipped so I cant do alot of complaining. now that its on its great nice and quiet but sounds good when on get on it.

I would have sent it back, where'd you get it, jegs? I think i paid like 325 shipped from them. Mine lined up perfect. Throw some headers on there and you are going to love the sound even more. Awesome catback. Too bad yours was defective

I do love the way my friends car sounds with kooks longtubes and ypipe with highflow cats. It screams under wot.

I had the same problem with my magnaflow kit, lucky for me I work in a shop and was able to make my own hangers and re-bend the pipes attached to the tips... I wasn't happy with it, took it off sold it and went to put it on my buddies 1996 Z and didnt fit on his car either even after I had installed it on my own car(same year)... so who know, maybe those canadians working in th GM plant made a few "freaked" f-bodys and just never told anyone... anyway....SLP loudmouth for me and Im happy!
