This is why I bought the Taylor 8mm wires premade for the stock location, no problems with them at all, piece of cake to install and no crimping to mess with. (of course nothing is a piece of cake on this car but relatively speaking it wasn't bad at all )

I bought the premade MSD superconductors and I thought I was gonna have some major problems with burning wires.
Now granted I have not fired up the motor yet so the point is moot until then but with some creative routing and a few zip ties I don,t think I will have any problems. I think it is all in the routing of the wires (hence why OVC works) but regular wires in basically stock location can work in my opinion.
I will let you know if I am full of crap or not.

Ignition wires run in the stock locations can work fine. Just make sure that they are secured out of the way of heat. I prefer OVC because it makes it much easier to inspect the wires and it also keeps the high energy ignition away from sensitive knock sensor and ABS wires.
