Mark in the crank?
As I was pulling the crank hub off, the crank move just a little from TDC.
I see a slit on the crank, does that indicate anything? If not, I'm going to be in that much trouble when adjusting the valves if I'm off TDC a little?
Also if you ask yourself why I dont use the crank hub arrow when I reinstall it, is because it was off when I sent the #1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke.

I think the point of the pic is to show you where the crank keyway should be when #1 or #6 is TDC..
If you 'have the hub off', can't you see the keyway slot?
If it's at 130 o clock it's #1 or #6 is at TDC..
