Lightbulb Mcleod Steel flywheel vs. aluminum weight savings?

I have a brand new steel flywheel designed for the LT1 dual friction setup for the LT1. I was wondering if I am going through all of this trouble to have the best for my money. Should i get an aluminum flywheel and sell my steel one? Or should I keep it? I dont plan on racing but I want the best gas milage and perfromance + wear and tear wise I dont want it to be beaten either. Let me know if you guys know anyhting, Thanks again, Kurt

General rule of thumb is you dont want an aluminum flywheel for street driving.

Do a search in the drivetrain forum.
