Thanks!
Working on getting a programmer but would like to just borrow someone elses just to reprogram fans.
I know that current settings should be:
PRIMARY: ON @ 226* OFF @ 221*
SECONDARY: ON @ 235* OFF @ 230*
What would the 'reprogram' settings be for a new 180* in South Texas heat?

Primary: 82.25 on ?? off
secondary: 86 on ?? off
your thoughts on the offs? I'm new to this so if this is proprietary racing info then my apologies and nvm...

Since the stock t'stat in an LT1 is 180*F, and you replaced it with a new one of the same rating, changing the fan on/off temps is of questionable value. It would make more sense to reprogram the temps if you bought a 160. You definitely do not want to use the 82.25*C (180*F) and 86*C (186.8*F) temps with a 180* t'stat. It only starts to open at 180.... isn't fully open to ~200*F, so you would be reducing flow significantly with those low temps. If you feel you have to reprogram it, use temperatures above 200*F. Or get a 160.

Yeah, I'm using a 160* thermostat. With a programmer you won't have a choice of what temps, it just does it for you.
Programmers are generally understood on this site to be pretty worthless. You won't get any benefit from lowering the running temps on the car and the other gains are minimal. Spend your money on other mods and get a pcm tune when you feel the need.

Actually, the HPP offers two different sets of fan on/off temps, and dyno tests have shown that the only real HP gain from the programmer is seen when the 160*F t'stat is used. Still not a good "bang for the buck", but it does work.
