Miss in closed loop

I am having a miss after the engine reaches operating temperature. I believe the dtc is code 44 (left bank lean). It only does this when I push the car hard or drive 20+ miles straight through. Is a bad oxygen sensor a possibility? When I put on my pacesetters I bought bosch oxygen sensors, because it was the only brand OReilly carried at the time. Thanks for any suggestions. Nick

a lot of people on here have had problems with the bosch sensors, yet other havent. I have one ac delco, and one bosch, and have had no problems. Others have said that when you first install new LT's, some of the material burns off and can foul o2's.

I've heard a lot of people foul o2s with the coating from LTs.

Which is why when I buy LTs I want them used.

The only problem with that is the sensor worked properly for over two years after the installation of the headers. I was just wondering if anyone here experienced the same symptoms and what the cause of their problem is. Thanks for your input.

The code sets when the left bank O2 sensor stays at low voltage for an extended period. That would tend to indicate something that is affecting only the left bank of the engine (although a scan would show you if the right bank is getting close to setting the same code). O2 sensor or sensor wire, major misfires on the left bank, large exhaust leak on the left bank, leak in an AIR component on the left bank. If its something that is affecting both banks, could be a faulty or dirty MAF sensor, a leak in the inlet elbow after the MAF sensor, contaminated fuel, low fuel pressure.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am working on getting some scanning software and a cable for my laptop.
