My $0.02 is forget about the pullies and trick flow elbow until way later. I regret spending money on the "little things" that don't make THAT much difference. Save your money to get Lloyd's heads and get a cam (cheap @ $250) and there you go. Anything else is just the icing on the cake. Get your PCM tuned tho. Oh yeah, don't forget suspension and chassy. Get subframe connectors, LCA's, maybe shocks, etc. When you get the bug like I did, it bites hard! I did all mods in my sig at once. That's the way to do it for ease of install. Good luck man!

Well, I'm in California right now on vacation (I live in Florida) so I can't do anything for a while. I'm getting the front and back bumpers repainted as soon as I get home and I need a stage III clutch before I can go to the 1/4 mile in Gatornational. I would have a cardomain page, but the paint isn't on yet and she's ugly right now

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I was just trying to answer this dude's question.

Yah i have all the supension done already, DR's pro kit, bilstein shocks, panhard rod, subframe connecter, strut tower bar, and im working on the tranny right now, vigilante stall, transgo kit, megashifter, LS1 al. driveshaft, LS1 posi 3.42 rear. I dont have money for a 12 bolt lol. How much are the Loyd heads gonna cost me? and i cant really figure out a good cam to go w/the set up. I was planning on doing everything at the same time as well...at least the majority.

Unless they have I/H/E too, then you're probably in for a whippin'.

Mod for mod, you're probably going to lose unless you have the car setup to cut some low 60' times (of course I always assume drag race, sorry).

Go to this thread and scroll halfway down the page. You'll see the LE packages and prices...

hey thx steve, and yah I/H/E will beat an LS1, but not a modded LS1, that LE stage 2 and 3 set ups look REAL nice right now, and dont look like they are to much out of my price range. That set up also looks to be good for about mid 11's...sounds pretty good to me.
