Moisture in my exhaust?
I got my car out of storage from a heated garage 2 weeks ago. I changed the oil and got her ready. I noticed that when it idled the tailpipes would leave a trail of water behind. If you put your hand at the tip of the exhaust your hand will get wet. I have driven it about 15 miles since then and it still does it. On top of that it has recently thrown a code. My O2 sensor is "slow to respond" according to my scanner. I have hooker LTs with an offroad y-pipe and GMMG exhaust. I am assuming that the sensor got wet and is failing. How the heck am I getting so much moisture in my exhaust???? Has anybody else had this problem? BTW the headers were installed right before the car was put into storage.

Water is a natural byproduct of the combustion process. Dont worry about it. In different environments it will make less/more water. I've seen if dribble out of many tailpipes on any given day.
You probably just need to replace an O2 sensor.

I understand that a little bit of moisture is normal, but this is a lot. I am talking like a three foot trail when it idles for about 2 minutes. Maybe its just because of the Wisconsin weather.
BTW TABAHR its nice to see another Madison guy on here.

How much is to much? Very subjective question. If your car is running fine and has normal power your probably ok. The O2 may be a coincidence.
I'd change the O2 sensor and if it fails again I'd look into the water more carefully.
