had a custom
242/252 at 50 560 or so lift 110 lobe
sounded great ran 118s with a bad injector
this was 383 long tubes 3.42s
fyi dont say stage2 heads this says nothing
get the heads flow them then you can decide the cam from that
fyi i am running an inverted custom grind 232.242 550 110 lobe right now
drive like a stock car ecxcept for the extra power

You want your shifts to be around 7k.
These are a few cams I know of and have used... although I think hydraulics just cost you ponies and durability at these revs.
Isky 290HR I believe it is.... specs are 234/246 .53/.55 110* lsa. Run 1.6's on the intake and leave 1.5's on the exhaust. You might want to double check on Isky's site but that's a popular one but pulls a little shy of 6800 rpm.
Another is an Ultradyne, 238/248 .53/.53. I think UD grinds that one on a 114* lsa.... I'd go to a 112* if you're running stick.... otherwise stay with 114.
Then there's a cam from Schneider, 244/252 .56/.575 112* lsa. That one will pull all the way to 7k. Strong cam, but you need the heads to work with it.
Of course, most of my experience is with gen1 engines but any grinder can grind these cams on the LT core. Get some gears and stall speed and make sure you can get enough fuel.
