Re: Motor mounts

Remove old rubber from clamshells by drilling or grinding rivets. install poly (might have to grind a little off for good fit) into clamshells and re-install with bolts.

Re: Motor mounts

FYI with these poly mounts if your car is cammed you will feel it. Especially in your dashboard.

Re: Motor mounts

I've also heard that if your motor mounts are poly, your transmission mount should be also. If one or the other is not the same, it makes for lots of vibration.

Hmm. Don't feel any excess vibrations in the Pro 5.0 shifter. I'll have to look into it. thanx

Re: Motor mounts

Poly trans mounts are mandatory.

I'd say this pretty much sums it up. I've got Prothane motor and trans mounts. My cam is fairly tame so I don't notice much of anything in the way of excess vibes in the cabin.
