Motorvac carbon clean before or after tuneup?

Well, I am going to get the Motorvac done on my T/A since it just hit 101,000 miles. My dad had it done on his 96 Silverado and it made a world of difference. My question is this, should I do this before or after a tuneup (plugs, wires, etc.....)

Thanks, I can't wait to get this done and then do a full tuneup!
