mount won't fall out?

Re: mount won't fall out?
not sure exactly what you're talking about here, but the motor mounts are 2 pieces, the bracket that bolts to the bolck and the bracket that has the rubber mount in it that is bolted to the k-member. Are you asking how to get the rubber mount out of the bottom bracket?

Yea, I'm not sure of exactly what you're asking here either, but, if you are going to replace the rubber engine mount with poly, (or just a new rubber one), then you just need to remove the "lower" mount. The lower mount is a "clamshell" design with three(3) bolts holding it to the frame, (two(2) of the bolts are easily seen from above, and the third bolt is removed from below). Once these three(3) bolts are out of the frame, loosen the 6" long bolt which "cross joins" the clamshell to the "upper" engine mount bracket and then just jack up that side of the engine about 3-4 inches, pull out the cross bolt, and push the lower mount in toward the centerline of the car along the frame, and it should just fall to the floor. At least that's the way it worked for me. Good luck!
