NAPA sells Victor Rienz 5898 same specs as Mr. Gasket but loosly individual packaged. I paid $22 apiece. Mr. Gaskets from Summit are up to $70 a pair, must be trying to recoupe some money for all the hassles they have been with the packaging.

Good info! Hadn't heard of these before. They're $16 at CNC-Motorsports.

heating the package with a heat gun, (I am told by Nabil Guffey), gets those Mr. Gaskets out of their package pretty well.
Dwayne thanks for the Victor Reinze (sp?) tip. I picked up some a few days ago and they are just as you say.

With how much stuff came off I doubt a heatgun will do anything, it was down to the metal in most parts.

I ordered two from summit and then returned the front gasket from each package. Little of a hassle but it worked out.

since there is metal in them I would think that they are talking about the head gaskets.

Yes the 5716 I believe it is head gaskets. They come together in one package shrink wrapped way too tightly and the coating peals as you take them out of the package and apart from eachother.
