MSD Digital-6 Plus Ignition Control, need help...

Would a MSD Digital-6 Plus Ignition Control work in and do anything for my LT1?? I have a buddy selling a used one....

Not really until you do heads and a cam and bump up your compression.

I tried one before I did the stroker and I noticed a smoother idle but that was it. No gain.

It does help alot now though. Easy starts and less popping in the exhaust.

I would agree that the MSD Digital 6+ sure looks cool under the hood, but I haven't noticed SOTP benefit. It's not a big bang for the buck mod on a naturally aspirated engine in a 4th gen.

A little, tiny bit better gas milage. That's about all you're looking at. With a stroker, nitrous or a supercharger, then we're talking a big difference. In the end though mine was worth it.
