my car is runnin like ****

ok my car started missing and **** so i changed the plugs its still doing it the best way i can descibe it is if i put it in like 5th gera around 40-50mph and floor it , it kinda sounds like popcorn in the microwave the other night i think i went through my revlimiter on spray so i dont know if i bent a valve or broke a spring let me know what u guys think it might be my opti

ok update i pulled off my vavle cover none of my springs are broke , i replaced the coil , if anyone has another idea for me to check let me know thanx

I see this is'nt good enough for the "Chosen Ones" in advanced tech because their SO ABOVE that! how's your Oil Pressure???also have you taken a compression test?

As far as the problem. Lets have some more details-

Does this happen while stopped and reving?
Does this only happen at a certain rpm?
Have you checked your wires recently?
Do you have any or can you get a log of the problem?

happens all the time but mainly u can hear it under heavy load, not at any certain rpm, wires are new

but i kinda noticed tonight it kinda sounds like a header leak would this give me a loss in power ? im not sure if it is though?

I think if you overreved it, and then the problem started, you may have somthing damaged

If you hit the rev limiter on spray there is a good chance you have some piston damage if you have stock pistons. Open your oil fill cap while running and see if you have alot of fumes coming out....If you are getting kinda a popping\puffing noise when you floor it its most likely a blowby from a broken ringland. At any rate check your compression and that will tell you for sure.
