The sheet should be broken down into various lifts of .100, .200, .300, .400, .450, .500, .550, .600 and have corresponding before and after flow numbers for each.

Basically, each lift number is how high the valve is lifted per se, and how much the head flows at that given point.

How were the mid lift numbers, from about .400 to .550???

Interesting. I have the bigger valves and while he got 283 intake I am still just at 191 exhaust....looks like he learned something on the exhaust side to me.

Don't worry guys, he listens to what you need & ports/valve job accordingly, Mr.Whitey you might have 265 peak flow but what is your flow in the lower numbers? if you have a descent sized cam you need bottom lift numbers, if you have an XE cam, lower lift numbers aren't as important anymore but more/less 400+ lift, so it all depends, you can have a head that flows 287cfm & make 380RWHP & a head that flow 250cfm & makes 405RWHP, mid/low lift numbers are most important, how about you guys post your actual flow sheets on here & we'll be able to tell how good the heads are.

Ps. besz28, you must have had 561 castings if you have 217cfm stock or just a good set? you have about 5cfm over most stock heads.

You mean you sent money and heads to have Lloyd work them over and you don't even know what the flow #'s mean?
