Talking my lloyd elliot experiance.

i called lloyd today at about 12 and talked to him about what to do with my z, and i understand the steps to getting hp so much better now. he told me the fastest best way to get 450 hp would be to

#1 start with my functional ram air hood
#2 get 1 3/4" long tube headers with a y pipe
#3 get a catback exhaust (which i already have a borla)
then he said after that send him my heads and do the LE2 kit.
#4 send heads to get port and polished he will send the cam and heads back with 1.6 roller rockers
#5 get a Vigilanti 3200 stall converter
#6 get a holley/bbk 58mm tb.

i learned alot from him from just spending 10 minutes on the phone with him.

What's more impressive is how willing he is to help if you have questions even years after you buy his products. I've used 2 different sets of LE heads and have 1 of his custom grind cams. Not only did the heads/cam package work great, the time he took brainstorming and answering my many questions was equally impressive.

I will always go to Lloyd first when considering new performance setups in the future.

I'll second that. I hope to be doing business with him again over the winter time. I love my set-up as it is, BUT it's time to raise the bar another 50rwhp or so.

Lloyd is the man. I bought some used LE2 heads with the old 918 springs, and I asked him about them and he offered to take a look at them free of charge. He even ported me another intake after UPS lost it in the mail, again no extra charge. He's a straight-up guy, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

He talked to me for 1/2 hour on the phone once even right after he said he could not help me on my specific issue. Gave fantastic info overall on head design.

When it is time to do work on my heads again, he will be doing them.
