Is my new Oil Pump done for?
I was priming the engine last night and I heard what sounds link the gears smacking together. It was kind of like a ticking sound, but loud enough to hear it over the drill noise. It was definatly pumping oil, but the noise concerns me. Has anyone had this problem, and is it normal or a defective pump?
