Correction factors might be accurate on the dyno, but not in the drag strip, atleast from my experience.

Maybe it depends on which calculator you guys were using to correct your times, and how accurately you input the data. I did my conversions using the auto math page on this site: http://www.smokemup.com You will need the temperature, dew point, relative pressure and altitude. ¾ of the way down the auto math page, you will see the link to the correction tools. There are two methods. The corrections that were made to my times don’t seem strange at all. The calculator is very sensitive to the relative pressure, so make sure you have an accurate number.
I could have only listed the actual results along with the weather (which I did), but most guys have no clue how much weather affects your results.
I have a nice website that allows you to look up past weather data in your area, so if you know what dates you ran on, you can get all the weather conditions that you need for these calculations. I don’t have the site name now, but can post it later. I think the website is called something like weatherunderground and you can find the historical weather data.

Re: My Track Gains from Various Mods!
I think there are alot more factors than simply DA. If you take into account track conditions and temp... traction is what evens everything out. Temp doesnt affect times as much IMO, but altitude definately does.
The hotter the weather, the better you will stick. Colder weather will put down more power. Altitude is what kills times unless you design a motor to compensate.
Thats how I see it. Maybe Im a little off.
Good comparison though. I like the post. THX man.

best data I have seen regarding mods of his type.

Re: My Track Gains from Various Mods!
Stereomandan what was your 60'? I went to the track with similar mods, cept long tubes and GMMG and I was wondering what your 60' was. I was pulling 2.3 60's with 13.61 @ 104.42. I figure that mph isnt bad for a A4. I am hoping for low 13's with traction.

2.15 60' times for me.
Yeah, trapping 104.4 with your mods is very good. Get that 60' down just a little and you will hit mid to low 13's easy, and probably up your mph to 105.

Re: My Track Gains from Various Mods!
Thats what I am hoping for. Sticky tires, 2800 Midwest stall, with a E-WP and ASP Crank Pulley for 12's, I think the MPH is there, just not the 60' (traction). I want to hit some 12's or 13 flat's before calling Lloyd
