N/A record holder
Does this car still hold the n/a hydraulic roller horsepower record?. After reading some of the article some of the info looks a little iffy. But i wanted to see what you guys thought about it. BTW...the company is no longer around.

Taner has went low 10's normally aspirated and low 9's on the GAZZ. Many street cars have went in the tens since that article.
I am trying to duplicate what that car did.
The car in the article has a solid roller cam.
That equates to 477 rwhp through an auto, impressive.(at 20%)

I know of a couple NA LT1s making over 500 to the tires thru automatics on ported stock castings.
As David said 597 at the crank is well under 500 at the wheels thru an auto.
What you see there is an exellent example of MARKETING.
