Plus all the odds and ends you need....It won't be as cheap as you think. As long as you realize it ahead of time you will be fine.

I built a el-cheapo engine....eagle rotating assym, $1500 heads about $1200 in the valve train. Cometics, machine work...did it as cheap as I could ( I'm on a limited budget) And it was not still cheap.

And I know it probly won't last either, I wish I would have done something else and spent more money

ughhhh lol all this money lol... i was lookin to spend around 10k total...guess its not possible ..... maybe ill just build a motor closer to 430-450 whp and worry about boltin the charger on later ..... so many variables to think about..... i just dont wanna make a mistake its alot of money to be messin aorund with

a good bottom and nice heads/cam is more than enough power for a street car. you should be 400 easy with a M6

You CAN do it for that, but you will have to shop around and buy ALL used stuff.

you dont even have to go that crazy for a shortblock
My shortblock will be about 1500 and it'll hold up to boost.
I can get a forged shortblock locally thats going to be the same as that VRE for 2k.....

Check your local machine shops for prices
plan on about 2500 for a good topend

If you are going boost...theres no need to immediately upgrade the top end. except the cam.
