Need Advise
There is a 93 z28 camaro on craigslist by me i need some input to see if I should pull the trigger or let it go. Keep in mind I have access to a shop and have no problems working on lt1's. Price is $1000.
Cons:
-Needs a motor rebuild or new motor (which i have one out of my impala i just swapped a stroker in)
-there is some paint fade on the top of vehicle and bumpers
-been sitting for a while
-needs radio
-cracked dash
-interior is cloth needs cleaning and some fixing up
Pros:
-has corvette zr1 wheels that are pretty damn close to mint (1996ish)
-body is straight no bodywork needed
-no rust
-he has all parts to rebuild motor
Is there anything i should look for specifically about these cars. i am a B-Body guy and this will be my first camaro. Just looking for questions to ask, comments, or concerns. any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Need Advise
I bought my Camaro for 5,800 with 18k original miles a couple years back. It needed minor work, dash pad was cracked, headliner was ripped by the T-tops. Try autotrader also, I think you should really look the car over very well. Does the AC work, windows work, brakes good, power steering, interior in good condition because I tell you it really adds up fast and if it needs all of the above offer him 500 or walk away. Has it been in an accident, look for ripples in the firewall and floorboards. Another good indicator is the plastic cover is missing where the steering shaft collapses.
