Alot of times the computer will clear itself if it doesn't detect another misfire. Mine would do that, it would get detect a mis and the light would burn for a day or so and then go out on its own. When I switched to OBD1 I cleared this up, but I do miss being able to hook up my scanner and have it tell me which cylinder was the culprit. Oh well.
