need help

im looking at buying a 94 z just for the motor for my t/a. the motor is seriously build but some say the power was fine and it didnt need to be splayed others say it should have on ls1tech. i was gonna get a few more opinions. after motor was build it was driven without a tune and dyno'ed 429rwhp. well after tune is dyno'ed 490rwhp. then on his way home it spun a bearing and lost oil pressure. here the specs

short block 385 cid .040 over with a 3.75 stroke crankshaft
