NEED help after header install (P0300A,P0400B)
well i installed my headers last year and threw a code. well i finally got the car scanned, P0300A and P0400B, (might be 300B & 400A). anyway there's a misfire and egr malfunction. for the misfire, it has to be a plug wire right? i checked my wires and none seem to be burnt. i have a set of otvc wires and looms i guess i will be putting on, if thats not it could it be a plug? and i have no idea what to do about the egr malfunction. my headers have the AIR and egr fittings and there connected. i need to try and fix this so i can get the car inspected, thanks for all the help.

You will need to get your computer tuned to get the EGR code deleted. The exhuast is flowing to freely and the EGR isnt getting the proper amount of flow. This is the only way around it, or you can live with the SES light.
Check all your plug wires for the misfire, best bet is to just start it at night and look for arching.

what do you mean by arching? i think i found the problem, one wire is touching the header, so i assume thats it. i cant get to it to check, bc i dont feel like tearing into it now cause i have to return my wires for new ones. they didnt fit. thank god summit will return them, ive had em for a yr now. is there any downside to deleting egr?
