need help diagnosing ses light

hey, i won't be able to get my uncle's scanner until monday at the earliest and was wondering if you guys could help me out

i sometimes get an ses light when i'm in 6th gear and usually have the cruise on
it only does it sometimes and it doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on anything
the cruise works fine, the car runs fine, it just comes on sometimes
also, i'm not reallly lugging it around either
i'm usually at about 65 atleast and usually around 70-75

any clue on what it could be?

Re: need help diagnosing ses light

You can get plenty of guesses (like EGR), but the scanner is going to tell you. Guessing is pretty much a waste of time.
