need help pulleys

need help pulleys

i am basically getting every single part i need to make the lt1 run in my 83 camaro, so alot of parts i dont know if i need or not or never even knew were there =p.. but i have about 90% of everything.. almost done getting all the parts, i still need the knock sensor, powersteering pulley, and the lt1 a/c delete pulley.. but i saw this on ebay--- does every lt1 have this also

?? do i need this to make everything tight and run properly, does this go on the alternator/p/s bracket tahts on the pass side of motor??

if anyone has a detailed close up of the engine compartment and how the pulleys are positioned and stuff , id greatly appreciate it, ive never had a 93+ camaro, so i was from scratch , but have come a long way, thnx again

you definately need that pulley. Thats the one that goes in between the AC pulley(or your AC delete pulley) and the crank pulley. That tensioner on ebay is the pulley that tightens your belt for the LT1 accessories so yeah its a must-have.

It takes (2) 10mm. head bolts and bolts onto the same big bracket as the alternator, P/S, A/C.

This may or may not help.

That ebay item is the tensioner and new they are only ~$29 wholesale.

now is that power steering pump put on with a 2nd bracket? or just mounted straight on there, i have the pump, and it didnt look like it would mount with out extra hard ware.

The ps pump mounts directly to the bracket by the long bolts shown in my pic. You have to spin the pulley to where the holes in it enable you to pass the bolts through to the pump body.
