need help in replacing ac hard line

need help in replacing ac hard line

I have a leak in my ac system. The leak is on the passenger side hard lines were you recharge the system the shrader valve looking thing. How do you disconnect this hard line and replace it it is crimped to a soft line do i need this whole piece? Any suggestions would help. Any one have the part number for this and price?

I have the same problem as you man... I'm actually about to order my 1LE A/C delete pulley right now. Apparently, you can't buy that piece separately it comes as a whole unit. I'm just going to take it off until I find somebody who is selling just that part so I don't mess up the compressor. Just a suggestion...

how much is the part? What exactly is the whole unit . and how would this miss up the compressor

Somebody told me that if the system is not charged the compressor can go bad because of a lack of lubrication... don't know the entire validity of that statement but it would be a costly mistake. Correct me if I'm wrong but would it be the entire A/C condenser system?
