Need help whistling is coming from under the hood
Like it says there is whistling coming from under the hood. Not sure what it is or how to fix but i do know it if more prominent after it has rained. Anyone have an idea of what it is for me?

It could be your intake, but i would check the driver side of your manifold, it sounds like you EGR elbow has melted. Look for vacuum line connections

Well checked all that just a secound ago looked fine. It could be my slp cai but I wouldn't think it would get louder when its wet and I didn't think it would be so loud at idle. Its louder than my loudmouth exhuast.

Wow i never thought my cai would be that loud. If thats really what it then how come it doesn't make that noise when I'm at the track running in 40 degree weather?

my slp doesnt exactly whistly, it more or less hisses...really loudly, specially right when you shut it off (it sounds soo cool 
). any way, i had a distinct whistle and i had to replace the rubber elbow connecting the intake manifold to the EGR valve....then i got an extra 9 miles a gallon with that alone...i hate emissions crap. any way, with that broken, it had messed up my plugs and wires, so check it out before you run so lean it burns stuff up.

you maybe right about the cai b/c it started right about the same time as i got it. Its been going on for about 6 months. Its not really there at all though unless it has rained. I think thats the only time i hear it is if it has rained recently before i start it up. I doesn't do it if its dry no matter what the temp is. Well I'll go check that rubber elbow again but i was pretty sure it was stil in good shape. Thanks for all the help so far guys keep it coming

do you have a stock throttle body? i had a 52MM edelbrock on mine...and it had a huge whistle..everyone thought it was supercharged(even though a charger sounds nothing like it..but most people dont know)
