need HP ratings for camaro/trans am

Can someone help me with a dispute over hp ratings? I have someone with a 91 Trans am GTA that claims stock has 270 hp???? Does anyone know of a website with that information....no guesses only facts!

I can tell you that he doesn't have 270hp stock...

I'm not 100% sure but i remember reading the 89 GTA was 235hp and 325tq. I'm pretty sure the 91 had the same specs.

But this isn't really a LT1 tech question. It should be posted in the lounge or something like that.

Why not ask on the 3rd Gen Tech board, where people actually own the cars you are asking about?

Yeah I was going to do it in the lounge but thought I saw a question similar here before. Oooops! Will try the 3rd gen thing. thanks. Guess I just made all kinds of no nos : )
