NEED LT1 helps ASAP

Well I did a H/C on my camaro with a LT4 hotcam kit stock heads with 1.6RR 1.60 and 2.02 valves and SLP headers, and when I got my car out the shop it ran like a champ but within 2wks now my car under load feel like it a rice rocket. IT sound and and is running different. They think it may be the opti spark but not sure. What do you guys think. when I put it on nuetral it rev fine but when you drive and punch it to WOT it pauses over and over. I check fuel pump and pressure at 38 and everything else has been change within a yr or less. I wanna know what you guys think before I have to buy what ever it is. Opti an cheap so hopefully it aint that. You can email me or post your opinion but I wanna know if anyone have had the same or close to same situation as I have, and let me know what you did or what fix it.

You have any kind of computer tune? I'd imagine the car would run pretty bad with the above parts and a stock tune.....

You are absolutely right, I never realized how much difference it makes untill I went to pcmforless.com.

Sounds like you just need to replace plugs/wires to me.

Why would that need to be done? It should have been done with the mods.

Because it sounds like hes saying the car has a misfire under load which is typical of a burnt plug wire or bad plug. My money is going on a burnt wire though.

This, no doubt, has nothing to do with your problem, but notice that your valves are pretty big for a stock head. I assume that valve seats were ground to accept the larger valves and unshrounding was done.

Its very likely a burnt plug wire, Although if the opti drive seal was damaged the opti could be wet inside. Inspect plug wires and look for leaks below the opti.
