Need opinions on Idle problem.....
My idle seems to vary some. When cold it will idle low about 600 RPM. Then when warm it will go up to 900 in D and 1100 in P. Then sometimes up to 1100 in D and 1300 in P. TPS is @ .69V at idle and 4.5V at WOT. I did have issues with the holley TB blades moving around and the CC cable binding, But those have been resolved. The car has PCM for less tuning. Am I looking @ a sensor problem or a program problem?????????? Thanks in advance ! Steven

I think your going to have to do a process of elimination. First thing, try looking for vacuum leaks at joints or connections of the vac lines. Then look at the IAC to see if it's sticking. Check the EGR for sticking also.
If that's not it check the signals of sensors like the MAP and o2's and don't forget to confirm the fuel pressure is ok.
check the plugs for signs of fouling or other problems and check the gap while your there.
You may want to consider cleaning the injectors.
Hope that helps

Mainly look at the IAC and vaccum leaks. Best thing is to pull the IAC and clean it with some brake parts cleaner. Clean out the throttle body which holds that sensor. More than likely its carboned up and its giving the PCM faulty readings.
If possible hook it up to see the readings of the IAC at idle and see what the position of it is.
The IAC meters the amount of air coming in through the throttle body and adjusts air flow into the engine by opening the blades up slightly.
My IAC was clogged and wasn't picking up the air coming in, so the PCM opened the throttle body blades a little farther causes it to run too lean.
Best thing is to get a monitoring device, and driving around town and watch the o2 sensor readings, and the IAC counts, other sensor reading. A IAC count of 0 is the blades are fully closed, where a 140 count is fully open. I believe normal is around the 60-80 count mark. This can be monitored by a scan tool.
